Business Writing @ Purdue

Here is our final draft of our project.

This week we were very productive. Members worked together to create all of the slides and images for the project. We showed our presentation to the rest of the class and the overall impression I got from everyone is that ours was pretty good. Cat made a couple suggestions to add slide abot tagging and we did. I think that the only thing we need to do now before we give the presentation to our client is to go through each slide and double check for typos and to reword a few phrases to inhance the overall flow of the slides. Other than that, we are in good shape.

We have now made some progress on our multimedia project. We outlined our slideshow and decided on the contents of the presentation. We chose to make our audience for the project broader than we had originally planned because we never heard back from the client about what she wants the audience to be. Anyway... We are making the presentation be useful for workers of MLS and also users of the website.

At this point in our multi-media project, we have a good since of what is going on. We have most of the necessary images and information and we are working to come up with a good design and layout for the presentation. The reading for this week does not really help me because the first three steps of the production process can’t really be done right now. These steps are motivation, design., and planning of the document. The main problem is that each of these steps requires us to meet with the client to discuss the general information and content that should be included.
